A 17th century Brussels tapestry fragment of a winged Putti kneeling beside an urn and flowers. Edged with a 17th century gold metallic torchon lace that has been hand stitched on ocean blue silk velvet finished around the edges with an 18th century cording. 100% down insert
Condition: The tapestry is missing a few threads in the upper right corner and has ancient restorations. Both the lace and cord have deep patina making them look dark rather than gold. The lace has some snapped threads but all is normal due to 300 years of aging.
