A rare length of Fortuny circa 1910 woven cotton, satin weave fabric, the back has a silk faille backing that Fortuny is so well known for. This fabric is in his “Crosoni” pattern of a French Directoire design of a large diagonal motif of silver patterned oak and mountain laurel leaves on a sage green ground that has subtle variations in the background color that is so typical of Fortuny. The old method of applying the metallic is not as thick and chunky as modern metallic. The older method is much thinner since it was hand applied. Fully lined with a coordinating Dupioni silk that shimmers from greens to reds. Early period, a discontinued pattern and you cannot even purchase this pattern any more, and rare ground color, the height of the pattern measures 16”.

This listing is for one yard of fabric and will be cut from the length. Please let us know if you would like more than one yard. (Once cut from the length, fabric is not returnable!)

Condition: Excellent condition with an aged patina
