A 19th century Italian brocaded silk runner. Woven with gold metallic threads on a dark raspberry silk ground with a foliage design of leaves, pomegranates
and scrolls. Edged in a same period gold metallic galon, each end finished with a
gold metallic eyelash fringe. Backed with a bright citron yellow silk.
