early, circa 1920’s, pattern in his “Melagrana” design
influenced by a 16th century Turkish design. Tightly woven twill with a ground of bittersweet or pomegranate with a silver metallic overlay. Edged in his signature scrolling “R” border, professionally lined and interlined. (This pattern has only been back in circulation since December of 2006 in cotton.) |
