~Oreillers~

A 17th century Italian or Spanish vestment runner of silk, gold and silver thread embroidery with
small metal paillettes, a forerunner to sequins, throughout, edged with it's original woven metal
trim. The band itself is on it's original red/wine silk velvet, the overall band has been applied to 18th
century silk velvet and edged out with an even later, 19th century, galon trim, each end is finished
off with a metal fringe. Lined with a silk/satin backing.
