Pair of Fortuny
fabric lumbar pillows in a rare early 1900’s pink “Dandolo”
design. Cotton fabric with the
ground in pinks with a hint of lavender the pattern in shades of beige/brown.
Edged with a 19th century
3 ½” long fringe trim backed with a coordinating mauve silk
velvet. The “Dandolo” pattern is an 18th
century Italian design named for a famous Venetian Doge Dandolo.
The ground color is what I would term a “John
Saladino” signature color, as it would look right at home
with his lavenders. I’ve shown this fabric next to modern pink
Fortuny fabric to give a better idea of the
ground color. Condition: Clean
and fresh and ready to grace your home.
