Fabulous pair of out-of-print original 1920’s Fortuny in his "Clamys" design of tightly woven twill. The
ground color is charcoal black with the leaf and scroll design overlay of silver metallic, the knot motif of
gold metallic. Backed with charcoal colored nubby linen and finished around the edges with a 19th
century German bronze metallic cording with two kinds of twists. Condition: Fading to the metallic overlays, which is consistent with age.
